Setton Pistachio - the nation’s second largest pistachio processor and maker of Pistachio Chewy Bites based in California’s Central Valley - is participating in the 12th Annual Produce for Kids® Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign, which raises thousands of dollars for children’s organizations. Running through July 26th, the joint campaign offers grocery shoppers at participating Price Chopper locations the opportunity to contribute to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® and other local children’s charities when purchasing Pistachio Chewy Bites and other healthy and nutritious foods.
“Get Healthy, Give Hope is an invaluable initiative,” said Setton Farms COO Mia Cohen. “By educating parents and children on the benefits of creating nutritious meals together, the campaign is planting a seed for lifelong wellness, not to mention its benefit to children’s organizations. We’re proud to support it.”
The Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign will support more than 35 participating fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers, representing every major category of fresh produce. Suppliers make a consumption-based donation to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other community children’s organizations.
In-store signage will notify shoppers of all participating produce companies. Additionally, in-store materials will encourage people to visit www.ProduceForKids.com for additional campaign information along with over 150 produce-centered recipes and healthy tips from parents.
