Setton Farms Announces Official Sponsorship of Philabundance
Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc. - the nation’s second largest pistachio processor and maker of Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites based in California’s Central Valley - is excited to be an official sponsor of the upcoming ACME and Produce for Kids campaign. The promotion will help raise funds for Philabundance, the largest hunger relief organization in the Delaware Valley, and other local Feeding America food banks. The ACME and Produce for Kids campaign will begin Thursday, April 24th, running through Thursday, June 4th.
Eleven fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers are participating in the campaign and together they represent every major category of fresh produce. Throughout the campaign, ACME grocery shoppers will be encouraged to purchase more nutritious fruits and vegetables; for each purchase of their product at ACME, suppliers will make a donation to Philabundance through June 4th. In addition to providing monetary support to Philabundance, the campaign will offer ACME shoppers in-store and online meal solutions, recipes, and tips for families to embrace healthier eating habits through the Produce for Kids website.
“Produce for Kids and ACME will be making a difference in many people’s lives and we feel honored to be a part of it,” said Setton Farms COO Mia Cohen. “Feeding those in need and making information about healthy eating readily available are two important causes close to our hearts. We are very proud to be involved in this campaign.”
In addition to Setton Farms, other companies participating in the ACME and Produce for Kids campaign include Eat Smart® Fresh Cut Vegetables & Salads, Avocados from Mexico – Mexican Hass Avocados, Bolthouse Farms® Juices, Earthbound Farm® Organic Greens, Fresh Express® Packaged Salads, Kings River Packing California Citrus. Marie’s® Dressings, RealSweet® Vidalia® Onions, To-Jo Mushrooms, and Wholly Guacamole®.
